Digital Dictation

Digital Dictation allows fee earners use of a tool with which they will already be familiar through its tape based predecessor which will at the same time dramatically improve the turnaround time on work, make better use of your typing resource and offer greater flexibility in the document production process.

Staff creating dictation can do so from their desk in the office, from a branch office, from their PC at home or from a PC anywhere over the Internet. They can also create dictation on stand-alone digital dictation recorders and then download those files either at their desk or over the Internet.

These dictation files then become accessible centrally for your typing staff to access and work on under control of rules about who should work on what. The typing staff working on these files can be in the central office, a branch office or anywhere with an Internet connection.

When used in conjunction with LawPro the system can automatically launch the appropriate standard template pre-loaded with the necessary variable information from the LawPro database such as name and address. This means that only the variable content needs to be dictated and transcribed. The document will then be filed in LawPro against the matter that it belongs to.
