Reports provided by legal accounts
systems are dull and workmanlike generally
– daybooks, matter listings, bank balances and trial balances. Columns
of digits printed and stored to wait for the auditors or the law
society visit. LawPro does these too, but in addition offers you
the opportunity to extract analysis of the massive amount
of information that builds up as you process your day to day
business transactions and present it in a way that will help with
the control and planning of your business.
Links with Excel are used for many
of the management reports in LawPro. Excel adds a further dimension
to reporting by allowing the same data to be analysed in different
ways within the one spreadsheet. Bills outstanding can be listed and
then analysed by fee earner, case type or department within the one
spreadsheet. The analysis can be displayed in graphical form for
easier interpretation.
