The firm’s nominal ledger is the main source of management reports and LawPro allows you to build your chart of accounts to suit your circumstances. LawPro is a period based accounting system meaning that you can continue to finalise month or year end accounts while continuing with daily postings.

Budgets can be set for each period and the period end routine will automatically zero the period balances and roll them into the year-to-date figures. The nominal enquiry allows you to enquire on previous years and reports can be produced showing comparisons with previous years.

LawPro is a double entry book-keeping system and many of the postings to the nominal are completed automatically as contra postings to matter postings.
